damn markp sounds like you have a little experience dealing with stuff like this but on a serious note im sorry to for your loss i hope they catch those %$@#@!&*. like they say what doesnt kill you only makes you stronger!

I feel sorry for you. The anger will last for years.
But I disagree with the people that say it was definitely stolen by the shop, or one of its employees.
My old Corolla was stolen from in front of my house by someone in a truck who towed it away, then stripped it in a secluded spot. If you're a thief, it's not a bad method.
Look at it this way: Bruce is a car thief. He likes to steal cars when he can be sure he won't get caught. So he targets cars that are parked outside performance shops. This guarantees that no one will be around at night when he does his work (unlike a residence), and it means that the cars he steals will probably have had expensive parts added. He just needs to tow them because he can't be sure they are running properly, and it's quicker than hotwiring.
I don't think you can guarantee that the shop contributed to the theft. (Which is not to say that they aren't financially responsible.)
