what? I got around 10 in Hg with a five degree deflection. both ways. Should the vacuum be steady?

it may make a difference where you put the vacuum line. i did some testing, with the vacuum guage teed into the distributor vacuum lines.

i was seeing 15ish, steady.

so is off the dizzy vac lines an accepted place? and what does low vacuum mean. other than a leak.

It could mean weak springs or worn seals. Maybe chrome flaking.
