and brakes are more important than anything else. its not what 0-60 means, its what 60-0 is. i would rather be a great stopper than a great goer, if that means anything.

just got word that the calipers, rotors, and racing break pads have been installed. although it seems i'm going to be putting on a new Brake Line Kit from Mazdatrix. so i'll be going down there to purchase it and have it installed. then i'll be good for now. although on the issue with the steering wheel, basically all it is, is that the steering column is screwed up and i dont feel like spending the $$ to have it all fixed. ever since i put on my new wheels with 15 tires, i've had the problem. if i put my stock tires back on i wont. so for now I might just do that.. it's not the tierods or the ball bearings.. those were all replaced before. we'll see, i wish i didn't have to but it seems like the solution.

I'd be glad to assist you as well but I won't find out exactly until today. I'm going to buy my brakeline kit from mazdatrix and then head over to the shop to have it installed. after everything is done im gonna find out exactly what in the column is bad or needs to be fixed and will let you know later today.

well i dropped off the brake line kit but car isn't done yet. in terms of the problem with the resistance in the steering wheel.. i need to replace the steering box to effectively make it work right. i'll go more into detail about it later.

well, it's finally done being worked on. I had new calipers, racing brake pads, and a brake line kit put in. i'll be sure to post the pictures up once I get them from the rotary shack. once again robert's done a great job of working on my car! haha. it seems also that i didn't need to replace the rotors so i ended up saving $140 there. my breaks seem to be working great with no squeeks! although I do have to make sure not to break hard for the first 100 miles, right robert? no warranty on squeeks?! haha.
although, the problem with the resistance in the steering wheel is still happening and in my case it is because of my steering box is screwed up. it always has been. just now that i've put on a bigger set of wheels it effects it more then ever. so 81widemariah, in your case you might have a different issue such as the tierods, or ball bearings. if you want, post your problem in the Rotary Shack section of this forum on the link below, Robert is the owner and might be able to help you out. Good luck.
