Steering, Suspension Bushings
I know that Victoria British and MazdaTrix sell steering and suspension bushings, but does anyone sell a complete set of all the bushings you need? My '85 GS apparently sat for along time and all of the bushings are crap. I want to make sure I order everything I need, so it would be nice to find a complete set.

I got all my Energy Suspension bushings from VB.Im not aware of a kit,but ES sells lots of kits,so its likely they have an SA/FB kit.
Lower control arm inner
Tension rods
Sway bar set
Thats about it for the front, wouldnt be a bad idea to get some poly tie rod boots too.I did mine years ago, along with the suspension and they still look like new.
The rear should be left alone for the most part.Even if they look all split up and wasted, usually the thick rear bushings are OK.I did my Watts links and sway bar bushings in poly just to see what would happen. No real change noticed. If you start changing the control arm bushings with poly(especially the uppers) then youll start causings some more bind in the already imperfect rear suspension.Thats when things get squirlley....

That eBay link is the first complete set I have ever seen for for a 1st gen. I bought a complete set through Mariah a couple of years ago and pieceing it together to make a comlete set was 75 more than the eBay price. I'd say go for it or you can price the individual bushings through Nopi or Summit.

Price compare all the stuff between VB and mazdatrix. I remember getting almost everything from VB when it came to my bushings. Mazdatrix was a bit cheaper for a few items. I needed to order a couple misc other things from mazdatrix anyways so it wasnt that big of a deal. I should really install the rest of those sometime....

ES does not have a complete kit listed like they do for the second generation. The retailer has to put the kit together.
I can offer you the complete kit for $149.00 + shipping.
But I would also say unless you plan on doing the rear you can save a good bit of money by purchasing the front end parts separate.
Either way, let me know if you want them and I will work with you on price.
Our new site will be up around the 10th. Until then just PM me.
