starting 12a that has been sittin awile

Ok its a 80 12a and it has been sitting awile what do I need to do first (besides gas) before starting it.
I know about the oil and water stuff like that but what about the apex seals and stuff do I need to put something in the spark plug holes to loosin things up a little ?

what's a while? if it has been sitting for a long period, without being properly prepared for it, it might be rusted inside, or something like that. Defenitly try if you can move it by hand, so you know nothing got stuck.

Put an ounce or 2 of Marvel Mystery Oil in each rotor chamber. I use a large syringe designed for measuring small amounts of 2 cycle oil. Inject it through the leading plug holes and the exhaust ports if possible. Turn the engine by hand after 24 hours and again after another 24.
Expect mosquito fogging on start up.

ummmm I dont think you have seen it...its been in the garage for 3 months and the other one I just picked up over just pass bremerton.in the stix's lol

If it is stuck seals or rust that is locking it up, you probably will be able to turn it after 24 hrs with MMO in it. Usually they will move, at least a little, after the first 24 hrs. If it is locked up because of a piece of carbon jammed against the apex seal, results may not be the same. See
