Are the starter solenoids

on a manual and auto different? in which case i think they are but can i rig an auto one on a manual starter just to see if our problem lies there?

I think they are all the same, but not 100% sure.
Why don't you get a fellow rexer to come by with an extra stater and give it a shot...

I'm not sure about the solenoid itself, but the starter is different. The auto starters put out more torque.

live with a fellow rexer....hehe its for his car and i was wondering if i could rig the auto to the manual but now that i look at it i think the auto is a tad bigger than the manual

I think they are different. I've got a brand new starter that I'd sell. It's for a manual.

No dude. This is a different starter. You couldn't break my knees if you tried.

rx7girly- idon't think we were hooking the solenoids up right. i highly doubt both are bad. especially since joe knew blacky's worked.
