starter question

So I was putting on a new battery cable and sheared off the bolt that the cable goes on. Can I teardown the solenoid and replace the bolt or do I need to get a new solenoid?
Oh yeah, and I assume its ok that teh starter was made by Mitsubishi.

I think you can remove the broken bolt. A good set of easy outs always comes in handy. And don't forget the everpopular PB Blaster!

if u actually broked that stud off, u'd probably be better off just replacing the solenoid.

ok

Is there a way to tell if the starter is for a 79 or 82 engine? Or, are they the same? The body is a 79 - but alot of the parts are from an 82 and I jsut wanted to make sure
