Starter problems and ignition

hey guys i finally figured out all of my vacuum problems and fuel problems on my sa and i went to crank it over started by itself drove around for a bit then pulled back in my drive way and it wouldn't crank over so i tryed to have my friend push start me and it was getting fuel but no spark, the battery is charged

well i pulled the starter out and hooked it up to a battery and i got nothing soo need a new one of those but is that in anyway connected to the ignition?

No, the ignition isn't connected to the starter. Are you 100 percent sure you don't have spark?

yea definitely not getting spark it would be rather strange that the starter and the ignition all went bad at once but i tried pull starting it and nothing fuel in the carb was at about 3/4 in thebowls and i can see it giving gas steady so i pulled the cap off and sum of the tabs on the new cap i put on were bent so i put the old one one back on and still nothing
