you had better run strait to the bathroom and wash your mouth out with soap.
And then come back and post that you did, and we will pretend you never said that.......

I wouldn't throw one in a RX-7. For the price and the hassle of doing it I would just go with a 13b rew. But a 1960-something datson roadster on the other hand would be sweet. I actually thought of doing this myself. Turns out the 7 was more cost effective for me. I think the roadster weighs less than the 7 too.
There are also alot of options with the SR20DET depending on what year engine you got. 205~250 stock hp and there is a six speed gear box on the later years.
imagine popping the hood on this bad boy and seeing a black top SR20DET and crusing with a 6 speed.

There's a Series 1 with an SR-20DET in the latest Fast Fours. The SR is a very nice engine but there's no way I'd put one in an Rx-7. First of all, it has pistons and secondly, a turbo rotary has just as much potential, is just as reliable and is easier to swap in.

what's wrong w/ SR even if it's pistons? enough w/ all this "no pistons"... if you guys do a search, OR maybe even drive your chevy tahoe, you'll wonder why pistons are used for most production cars. it pulls just as hard.
having an all motor s2000 FB would hang and if not, kill a turbo II in an FB.
personally, i see the rotary now as a novelty motor.. it's good don't get me wrong, but i like my piston motors as much as rotaries
