They just ruin the look of a properly built car. Some wannabe in town here has a BMW on some black 002's, looks pretty low-grade. Even as well as you'd think they look on that 86 the rims still look like plastic toys.

Not only don't they flow well with a FB, but they look like the eBay junk they are on any car. Besides they don't even come in the right bolt pattern.

GSL-SE is 4x114.3 last time I checked... lol

I just want know, honestly...
Do they look as cheap as your saying, or do you hate "fake" wheels like XXr or Rotas...

Im sure Im not alone here when i say that I think that one posted above looks really good (the wheels atleast.. hehe)

No, you're not alone. I'm also considering getting some. IMO they don't look any "cheaper" than the Konig Rewinds that everyone seems to like, and you can't beat them for the price.

If these look "cheap", I want to see some pictures of "real" wheels. I think they look great, and no, you can't beat the price. Make sure you post some pictures for us when you get them on.

well, I hope I have time to post up my parts for sale soon, so I can afford tires when I get these... lol

just heads up for now, I have an entire GSL-SE minus the axles/front hubs, but still has the 13B fully intact and an LSD, all gonna be up for sale here once I get pics!

Oh, and I will be doing ZG Flares with these 99% chance

Oh, I wasn't aware they were going on an SE. And no, I'm not one of those people who hate 'fake' wheels. I looked at going with XXR 002s myself, they are cheap and I figured I could convert my bolt pattern and still get the rims and be cheaper than if I bought 4x110 wheels. After I saw some in person though I was turned off. They look poorly made and don't feel solid, if that makes any sense. They don't look too bad on Billy's car there really, a set of meshies, while common, would still look better. But I guess that is just like my opinion man.

Just put one on with a 225-50-15 Toyo. Gotta love Wal-Mart $3.50 to mount a tire...

Gonna take the Toyo back off and order 225-45-15 Hankook RS3's

In this picture, the wheel wasnt all the way up on the hub, but very close (within 1/2 inch) I didnt have Tuner lugnuts with me when I test fit it. Im still planning on ZG fender flares soon....

225/45/15 Hankook RS-2
Sportmax (XXR) 002 15x8 +0et
stock SE springs, super worn out, one coil cut off rear.

havent driven yet, but does not contact any fender through turning, and I doubt it will bottom out since I think the front struts already are sitting on the stops they are so worn out

Now I dont think I need those flares =(

Get some VW cabrio flares, they'd sit just about perfect with those wheels.

Are you able to run the 16x8's on both the front and rear or do you have different ones on the front?
