That spoiler doesn't balance the car out, it makes it look tacky. Low slung spoilers like Fibre's and Mariah's look nice. Subtle is the key for these cars.

With such a nice ***, why would you ruin it with a big spoiler. it's like putting granny panty's on an an *** that deserves a G-string

Good one! Still, FWIW, that spoiler you had before would still make the car look good.

What I'm saying is that of the spoilers I have seen pictures of on these cars, that is one of the better ones I have seen. Granted, the pictures are low res, grainy and pretty dark. In the light it might look pretty terrible, or maybe not too bad. Overall though, I'm in agreement that they look best naked. It's all personal choice though I guess.

I think that the low-profile spoiler looks sexy and it accents the rear nicely. http://www.mazdatrix.com/k79-85a.htm

Now, see those low-pro wings really don't do it for me. I'm not sure exactly what it is, perhaps it's that the rx7 has a smooth and curved body and that wing is all boxy and angular. It just doesn't seem to fit. Anyway, a lot of guys like them and that's fine. I still haven't seen any spoilers that to me actually improve the original style of the car (although I haven't really seen many anyways). Some are better than others but none are good enough that I personally would bother installing.

When you say GTU wrap-around spoiler, you mean any 2nd gen wrap around spoiler?
