I am not a huge fan of spoilers on FB's. SA's. The only time I would consider one would be on a car with a wide body kit.

If the car has a tasteful body kit, I like whale-tail spoilers. Otherwise I like the ones like the "low-profile wing" shown here IF the rest of the car is well-maintained. If I had an SA, though, I'd want to keep it stock-looking.

you have to choose the right wing for you car. stock or close to stock the best options are either a 3 piece wrap around or a 2nd gen GTU wing. whale tails are also nice, but you have to choose them wisely to accent the rest of the car. you dont want your car to be stock with an outrageous wing.

If you leave everything on the car original, I would not put a spoiler on it. It is nice like it is.

If you change (or want to change) the original appearance oft the car, a spoiler is a must. That’s my opinion.

Which one? That’s the question

When I got my 79 it came with this spoiler, looks like something the factory would have put on there keeping with the stock look of the car.

I was about to say, a nice small wing will add a bit of style to the car without making it look ugly. FibreMaz's looks good with the wing.

I have an original 1 piece SA spoiler that wraps down the back of the car about 3 inches.

$$$$ offers

And, I just noticed how low Fibre's 7 is. Wow, those wheels are really up in the wells, aren't they?

I just dont understand. Who are you trying to impress here?

Do you like the spoiler look or not. its that simple, black and white, wet or dry, to be or not to be, creamy peanut butter or crunchy.

Do you like the look? If so then i say put it on.
Do you not like the look? If so then i say dont put it on. It really is that simple.

Not to be meen here but our opinions are just that OUR opinion OUR likes and dislikes, not yours.

Now the question remains, Do you likes the spoiler look or not? Its kind of like getting kicked in the *****, there is no grey area, you either like it or H.A.T.E. it.

I think he was asking because he didn't want to go ahead and buy a spoiler for his unless he saw examples to decide for himself.

Sometimes it helps to get the opinions of others because then it gives them a better visual idea of what they want.

the fibrmaz comparison shot did it for me. I like the SA without the spoiler. That wraparound one on the car makes me think of an early 80's mustang or capri.

Its settled for me, no spolier before the upcoming paint job

I stumbled across these pictures. Don't know who owns this car, maybe they're a member here. If so, hopefully they will share some info. Anyways, I thought this spoiler looks pretty good. Seems to balance the car out nicely. Sorry, the pics aren't the best quality but they're all I could find.
