I'm home from work, and moving the 1st gen from the GF's to my home. I got the image split up to 16 frames for an animated GIF (For Firefox) and it looks pretty good. I've got a little work to do, but I should be able to get it to work in firefox tomorrow. For now, the GF is on her way over.

Firefox animation action!
I did a quick (read: Half-assed) animation/idle image for Firefox users.
Basically, unzip and place the file below in the following directory, subbing [username] for the username you login with, and [random] you will understand what it's subbing for when you see it. If anyone wants me to upload just the images non-zipped I can, I zipped it because .css is not a valid filetype for attachments.
Windows XP/2k:
C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[random].default\chrome
Windows 9x:
C:\Windows\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[random].default\chrome
Files are attached, and if I get a chance, and the large icon annoys me enough, I'll make a smaller one to go with small-icons view in Firefox.
Enjoy!
Edit: Okay, it annoyed me already. Re-Download for the new (and smaller) version.

Are you using a theme currently? I'm running with the original theme, and it works for me. Perhaps the theme is overriding the userchrome.css. Also it will only work if you're using small or large icons, not text icons.
Also, did you restart firefox after ? I forgot to mention that in the writeup. =/

I think the theme may be replacing or not looking for userchrome.css. Also, are you guys running the latest version of Firefox? I've got 1.5.0.3 here, running the default theme and it worked. Without creating a whole theme, it'd be hard to make a drop-in replacement that works for everyone. Creating a whole theme is beyond my scope, I'm not good with visual design at all, if someone else wants to, I'd be more than willing to help out any way I could.

Interesting... I opened the customize toolbar menu to check my settings, see if I could mess something up in there and now it works. Didn't change anything. I'm running the default theme. Cool!!
BTW I'm running 1.0.7

You didn't have it running when you set it up did you? I did the userchrome.css off a tutorial and everything worked for me the first try. One thing to make sure of, is that you are not running firefox at the time, because it won't change while it's still running. You may also try rebooting to see if that helps. Let me tinker around with mine and see if I can't duplicate the problem and see what I can come up with.
