speaker suggestions?

anybody have suggestions for replacing stock speakers on an 85 gsl-se? fronts are 4 inch and rears are 6.5 inch..i need them to fit to the stock position with the OEM stereo covers without any modding or fabrication..has anybody done this and already knows what brand and series of speakers will work?

pretty much anything matching the original size will fit, just don't use the grills that come with them.

Careful with depth. You can't get anything with a double stacked magnet or anything. If I remember right there's something like 40mm of depth in the front and 45mm in the rear. Check out this part of the forum to see what other people have used (including myself.) Post in it too!

This came up a few months ago. Do a search. I think the OEM ones are tough to beat . . . if you can still get them.
