Spark plug Torque Wrench tightness

Ok, so before when I change my sparks I normally just do them till they are pretty tight. Time for a new change and I got 4 new NGK r's ready to go in but I heard that I should tighten them to a specific toruqe setting as this is important for Rotary engines, not so much for cylinders. Anyone got anything to add on that before I replace them tonight? I've had my car for 4 years and I've never bothered about the torque until now.

Well, don't start now. Just use anti-seize and remember that it's a lubricant so you'll want to torque them to the low end of the recommended specs.

Factory specs: 9~11 ft-lbs / 13~18 N-m Its also good to put a little anti-seize on the first few threads

Ok guys, cheers for that. Guess I'll just stick with the "tight enough" method. Oh and I already use anti-seize.

Happy driving!
