ok, so i put a rear seat in my '82, and it came with the roll-up cover for the cargo area. my question is, how does it fasten? is there a trim piece i need to get? or does anyone else have one of these and another idea that i cant seem to think up?

I saw a rear seat set in the Japanese auction this week. I thought it was rare as I don't see how it would fit in such small space. Do you have any pics of it on?

 

i dont, but i can get some. it wasnt that hard to install, just had to drill 2 holes and get 2 latches for the top, then 4 more holes in the bottom for the seat belts.

 

AFAIK the roller (assuming we are talking about the factory unit) attaches to the back of the seat. Are there mount points there? Otherwise they could mount right to the rear wheel well brackets that support the rear seat back? It then extends to a hook that mounts around the rear hatch back cover's light. Here is a photo out of a japanese catalogue, but its not very descriptive.
FWIW the european FBs came with these and if you were to contact some one like Jimmy's in the UK they will sell you any pieces you are missing, and maybe, with some photos from you, they can tell you what you might need...
