so do i need to remove the shifter to pull the tranny?

so do i need to remove the shifter to pull the tranny?

do i need to remove the shifter to dropp the tranny? i took off the plastic piece around the boot....the boot...and the ****...do i have to remove the whole shifter lever? i removed the 3 bolts to it but it didnt do ne thing and i dont wanna **** ne thing up

shifter stays, everything else goes: plastic piece, and boot...

after you remove the 3 bolts just yank it up really hard, wiggle it a little.
sometimes they can be a bit stubborn.
you can remove it with the shifter on when the engine is out but im not sure if your just pulling the tranny.

engine is staying in...just pullin the tranny...ima go yank on it..LOL

if you have a lot of play in in now would be a good time to replace the bushings.

there is NO play what so ever.....29k original miles dudeeee lol.....well i yanked ant i felt it pop up...so i tihnk im gonna leave it like that and then try to drop the tranny....sound good?

Make your life simple. Remove the shift lever. By time you get the transmission out you will understand why.

might need to pull it through the boot still.
remove it completly.
