smog pump removal

what will happened if i remove the smog pump on a gslse. thanks

I'm not totally positive but I think if you remove the smog pump the cats will go bad really quickly. It would probably be better to replace the cats with straight pipe, thats all I can think of. I'm sure someone here has done it and will be able to give you more info.
