simple weber question

does any one know if weber DCOE's have the same flange pattern as IDA's. are the carbs/manifolds interchangeable w/ each other?Im asking this because i wanna save money in the long run by buying a weber carb/manifold kit, and down the line swapping an IDA EFI throttle body to the manifold(i only wanna buy 1 manifold) and coverting to EFI turbo.

well, most custom efi setups i've seen will use a dcoe type throttle body. so, having the side draft manifold would be perfect. but, no they are not interchangable. the side draft manifold curves all the way up and over. the ida's are very very short.

So IDA carbs and DCOE carbs wont fit the same manifold? all of the throttle bodies that ive seen have been advertised as a IDA style throttle body, where could i find a dcoe style?(ps the least expensive weber carb/manifold kit ive found is a DCOE, so ide like to stick w/ the DCOE manifold for the throttle body)

BTW i went to twm's site and their dcoe throttle body only had 1 injector boss per throat(2 injectors total), is that the same with you're's or do you have dual injector boss' per throat(4 injectors total)?

there are a few guys running their setup using only the two injectors. works great. if you really need more fuel, you can add a rail pretty easy.

If you want additional injectors you can use a GSL-SE centre housing.
