Side draft on my GSL-SE 6 port.

I wanna do something like that Lake City side draft weber 45dcoe setup , on my gsl-se.

The only thing for 6 ports that im finding (Through mazdatrix) is a downdraft (isnt it?) as it only supplies the upper half of hte manifold to be bolted onto stock...

Atkins sells a setup for $750 w/ a weber carb (a side draft that is), does anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks

Geoff

Its a side draft upper manifold that bolts to the stock 6 port lower. Uses a DCOE carb. My friend has it on his GSL-SE and I have the same manifold lying around for a 2nd gen.

How does your friend like it?

I am partaking a crusade to humiliate, burn, and generally decimate all hondas, even the S2000's.

I'm going to be pairing this w/ street port 6 port engine, rb exhaust, and a generally perfect tuned engine (ok nowhere close, but i can dream cant i?)

Will this combo be able to do the trick?

A 45 DCOE is probably too small for a stock port let alone a street-port 13B. Get at least a 48 or even the 50mm. Or better yet, get a 48 IDA if you can find one. No other carb has been proven to match the performance, escpecially on ported engines.

Plus, nothing else looks as good in the engine bay.
