Should Axis make rims for 1st Gens?

Hi this thread is for to try and get Axis to have rims for the FB because they have some rims that look like the old school ones you used to get. But I called and they said they do not do custom drilling they would but cant. So that mean no custom rims for the FB but maybe we can change the head peoples mines. So I am hear to say every one who want there rims to fit on your FB with out having to get your axles redrilled or get adapters or any other stuff. This is a email I am going to send them. It would be a really good idea if every one send them the same thing but with your name and the rims you like from them. Maybe they will make rims or get the rims that will have 4x110 so you can just bolt them on. Here is the pic of what that old school rim looks like.

This is what i am puting in the email. email to info@axiswheels.com and the name of the email will be called Rims

Dear Axis

My name is _______ and I own a 19__ mazda RX-7 and with that year of RX-7 its really hard to find custom rims. Because the bolt pattern is 4x110 and some of us cant afford the GSL-SE that will change are bolt pattern to 4X114.3 for that bolf pattern you can find rims for. I saw your rim OG SAN rim it looks like the Old School rim you could of got for the bolt pattern 4x110 but they look better. your other rims would look really good on a 1st gen RX-7 like the MOD or the Shine. So I am asking could you please make 4x110 rims for us 1st Gen RX-7 owners.

________

my name was taken out for your name.

I think those rims would be better, they are much better quality than Axis.

it would be a bad idea to say that you don't have the money to swap to a GSL-SE pattern. If you tell them that, then they'll come back and say "wel, if you don't have the money for the swap, how are you going to be able to afford custom rims?"

Those fasteners around the perimeter are fake -- I like keepin' it real. Had a girlfriend once with fake parts -- had to let her go.

i might put them on i dont know a good way and i cant find cheap adaptors from 4x110 to 4x100 but here is a pic of what they would look like. that rim needs to be cleaned and get new tires.

heres what you need to do, just being as straight forward as possible.

1) ditch the honda wheels and buy some used 4x110. dont even bother with trying to go 4x114.

2) sale the rx7 and buy a honda since thats what youre trying to turn the rx7 into anyways. plus everyone knows hondas are faster

Good luck wth that... I had that issue with them before ... I wanted the AXIS se7en MOD with the lip and they only made them for Ferraries, Porches etc... I wrote them an email.

I got the AXIS se7en without the lip like the ones on the green Eclipse on the first Fast n the Furios movie... because the ones with the lip were not available for my car...By the way, I got them before the movie came out...

After a couple of months they released the AXIS SE7EN MOD for my car and other bolt patterns... So they actually listen...

However, I would not write it the way you did... I would try to send them a message on which you state that they can be more profitable by making available and marketing other bolt patterns such as 4x100... and not limiting their product. It would also be an advantage of them because they would be taking a lead on an area that other companies have not...

In short, give them a reason to do it that does not revolve over a specific car as they do not particulary care for our needs... they are more concerned with their business and making it profitable...

ohh, I sold my AXIS SE7EN and got the AXIS SE7EN MOD with maxxi lip in 19" for my Celica....

Dear Axis,

My name is _______ and I am the owner of a 19__ Mazda Rx-7. I have been looking at the Axis OG San design on your website. I am currently in the market for a set of wheels but have run in to some issues with my fitment. Due to the uncommon 4x110 bolt pattern of the 1979-1985 Mazda Rx-7, I am having a difficult time finding a set of aftermarket wheels. It would appear that there is an extreme lack of aftermarket wheel support for the first generation Rx-7.

There are very few, if any companies that currently produce wheels for this 4x110 Mazda application. Since the Rx-7 is such a highly popular enthusiast vehicle, I feel as though it would be beneficial for Axis to consider producing rims in the 4x110 pattern. Due to the utter lack of companies that currently produce this sought after 4x110 pattern, I feel as though Axis would be wise to consider meeting the demanding of the 1979-1985 Rx-7 niche.

I am sending this email to inquire about the possibility of having Axis begin producing the OG San wheel design in a 4x110 bolt pattern. Please let me know about the possibility of having such a design put into production. Thank you for your time.

Regards,
____________

^ Try my letter. It's not a literary masterpiece but I think it might go over a little better than the one at the top with all of the spelling errors.
