166 000km,the top of the radiator is leaking a bit making it smoke.he is asking 2000$canadian.the motor look to run fine.so should i buy it???? this car will look very great when the paint and minor body work will be done.what about the interior????

It might ruin you for other cars.

Some parts are hard to get, most are easy & reasonably priced.

Seats can be reupholstered or replaced, so that's not a big deal. You sure it's the radiator causing the smoking?

Someone do the conversion for me - how much is that in USD?

I am not sure about the typical prices of rx-7s in your area, so I couldn't tell you if it is a deal or not. You may want to hold out for one with a 5 speed. They are much more fun to drive than with the auto.

For parts, new ones from the dealer can be quite expensive. Most are not that hard to get. None of the parts that I have ordered for my car have been discontinued. For most parts, you will want to use a wrecking yard, ebay, or this forum. You wouldn't believe what some parts cost new.

Hope this helps.

Thats about $1400 US, find out exactly what is smoking. Bad interior + automatic and needs a paint job. Umm, if it runs really well, brakes and supension are good, id offer around $1500 CAN. max.

Go to the 1st gen for sale section & take a look around, see what others are selling for:

2g's holy crap thats alot for that car especially an automatic. I bought my 81 white fb for like $400 and that was a deal. Minor rust on the front fenders. But other than that great working condition. Not only was it in excellent condition but it also has every option slot. Suggestion look around again and even in the 1st gens for sale section. But you should most definitly be able to get a better price than that especially for an automatic.
