serious holley carb issue
#101
by drill them out do you mean like just a little bit or just random big hole ?
I tried the 65s and it made cut almost undriveable. Then I stepped down to the 47s then 45s and i still had the cut in the mid range and it also put one in the the top end too.
I thought I was rich with the 50s cause of the smell but I have some backfiring, so maybe I am running lean, ordering a 52 and 55, and this time they will be here tomorrow.. A wideband would be excellent right now lol
Ive basically been using other threads you gave advice on for a guide book, haha.

I bet your right. I just went down to my shop/garage and took my 50s and reamed them out like 84 stock said, slapped them back on and I could tell a big difference, the cut is just noticeable now. I didnt realize how quick the car was till it actually moves close to what it should lol. I'm just gonna order 55s off summit and get em in tomorrow. Id say after I reamed them there like a 51 or 52 as a guesstimate. I will gladly say after that I should have a decently solid carb.. You guys are awesome. I actually feel as though I can work on this thing now haha.
