sell me your cooler!! Please?

ok yesterday i put the car on ramps and took off the under motor cover to finally see where the oil is leaking. after pumping degreaser in my face and 2 t-shirts i'll never use again..i noticed that the oil is coming from the top inlet of the oil cooler. i tried taking that thing off but realized that i don't have the right tools. what size wrenches do I have to buy for the hose ends? and i want to replace it with a good one that doesn't leak. anyone have a good one for sale (no cracks!) let me know thanks!!

I have a special tool for this application. A grinded 21mm to make it thin enough to hold the inlet/out fitting AND an adjustable wrench for the oil cooler line ends. Always use two wrenches to prevent cracking the housings.

I think I use a 27 and 24 MM to do it. Buy a full metric set from Sears and it has what you need.

See here for a cooler for sale by me.

this has to be done from under the car right? I called a place called dynamic turbo this morning and they told me that the problem is that oil gets inbetween the crack and even if they weld it, oil will get out.. they said they would dip the cooler in some acid to try to clean the crack as much as possible but no guarantees. also they're charging me $200 just for removal and replacement. what do you guys think?

anyone with a good oil cooler you can sell me??

Thanks....

The top one is a 79-82 cooler and the middle is an SE cooler, You can see that the mount is some what different. you would have to mod the mounts to get the 79 - 82 to work.

Gregs' message has been deleted because he has had some 'sales' dealings with people in other sections of the forum that haven't been adequately dealt with. I recommend caution.

so now you need a cooler, yeah ? the car is an -SE ?? yes the coolers can be welded, i've done it a number of times. it's just that the crack can't be down to far into the threads for it to work, and hold. $ 75.00 dollors shipped within north america for another cooler. sound good ? let me know
