When I brake fairly hard my drivers seat slides forward on its tracks. What causes this? I need to fix this because I'm taking the car to a road course oct. 12th. I don't need my seat sliding forward on me breakin for a corner lol.

That's a neat trick.....Could fake out your passenger, eh?
Anyhoo, take the seat out. Four bolts, one in each rail corner. Take a look at the bottom....Cheez, not her seat bottom, the bottom of the car seat, dummy...
Note that there's a mechinism that rocks up and down, and meshes with the slide rail. There should be a wire that crosses the from one frame rail to the other so that both mechinisms release at the same time. Bet yuh the wire is either broke or come undone....If not, then clean and lubricate....
Denny,
From the 'ol corncrib....

On mine, it never does this, but the handle will sometimes stick in the up position if i don't manually push it down, so if its not engaging, that coule be your problem.
