ok im gonna put an se oil cooler on my car to replace the damned air/water one. i want to order my ss hoses from mazdatrix and asked em what hoses to use but still no reply. do i just use the se ones or what?

 

you can have the hoses made if you want. mine just burst so i went to a place called hose man and got some nice ones for $23

 

yeah ive read the posts on makin your own, but im not at my home right now and dont have the time to go huntin around to find out where to get parts around here

 

since i'm too poor to do the swap right now i was thinking about running some ducting from the air dam to directly on to the oil cooler, do you think this would help at all?

The Mazdatrix stainless hoses designed for the 13B SE will work on the 12A.

the rear one works fine, cause the back of the engine is in the same place, but the front one is a little short, you may need to get some -8 (or whatever it is) and remake it longer, its not hard to make the lines

yeah i know its not hard to make lines, and know that the se and 12a motors are damn close as far as dimensions go, was just wondering if i could just order the se lines and maybe there is enough slack in em that they would work. still waitin on a response from mazdatrix too...
