Need help...I want to convert my 83 gsl to the 85 gslse setup...I already have the suspension, interior, and wiring harness done with a street ported 13B with 48 dhla dellorto and racing beat dual presilencer setup. What I want to know is what I would to install the fuel injected setup on my motor. I recently bought a 85 se that I am parting out so I have everything there. I want do eliminate the pollution pump stuff and would I need to have the headers drilled for oxygen sensor setup. Please..any info would be very helpful...Thanx

Why would you want to go back to EFI if you have the Deltoro carby?? I may be wrong but from that I understand the carby 13b will make more power (at least for the money).
If I am wrong than someone correct me..

EFI is superior to tune and work with (if you have a good ECU running it) but the Dinosaur aged GSL-SE ECU is inferior to a Big Bad Dell.
Dude, You got a Dell, - Use it!

I am also swapping over suspension and interior components from an '84 SE to my '83 GS. I'm going to build the 13b with 12a side housings and add a heafty street port, Camden supercharger, and-eventually-EFI. I want to stick with my 45 DCOE that I'm currently running, but will swap it out in favor of a Haltech (or microtech) and TWM throttle body when the budget opens up for that part of the project. I've heard and read bad things about the tunability of the SE's factory ECU, so stick with the carb until you're tired of playing with and tuning it and opt for the aftermarket's answer to the ancient electronics. As for the O2 sensor bung, check Ebay. I got two from there (one for each rotor for a/f ratio gauges) for a great deal, and you can get them straight or angled for limited space applications.
