hey troch one more question then im done bothering you.... while i am driving, the steering wheel has a mind of its own... it tries to turn right on me... at first i thought it was cuz my struts were bad and some idiot cut my shocks down with a torch, then when i changed the struts, it still does it... could it be something in the pitman arm or tie rod ends? or is it most likely my steering knuckle coming off the steering column? what do u think or anyone else put in there two cents please.!

If it's a constant pull, you've got alignment issues and should get it aligned at a shop. If it's dependent on road conditions (ie: when you hit a bump or rut) it could be due to worn out steering components like tie rods, ball joints, wheel bearings, idler arm, etc. Or, it could be due to a worn, out of adjustment steering box. Even when properly adjusted and new, the steering on these cars isn't the greatest and some play in the steering wheel is inevitable. More than an inch or so coupled with 'darty' steering probably means that your steering box needs to be adjusted or replaced. There are plenty of posts in the archive concerning this.
