SA no start issue.
Alright, I have a 79 SA everything under the hood is stock. She has left me stranded 3 times all ready! If I drive her for 10-15 miles and than turn her off she won't start, when this happened I noticed the smell of fuel so naturally I pulled the cover to the air cleaner and looked down into the carb there I noticed that the secondaries were just puking out fuel and the bowls were quite full, I pulled the lever to the butterflies and watched the fuel go down. I then decided that I should pull the spark plugs (leading)when I pulled them out they were soaked with fuel. I cleaned em up with brake clean and let them dry. I than disabled the coils and cranked the engine and watched the raw fuel mist the engine bay. I than reinstalled the sparkplugs and wires and bam she fired up kinda crappy at first and she evens evened out. I have done this a couple of times already and its getting old fast. Do you guys think that the carb needs a rebuild? Or is there something that just needs adjusting?

Sounds like either sticky needles or a float that's hanging up. Check you sight glasses on the bowls (back one's hard to see because of all the bolted-on controls; need a light and a mirror); fuel level should be level with the line mid-window.
Tapping it might free the needle, but if it happens several times, you probably need to open the bowls by taking off the air horn, and see whats up.

I took off the air filter housing and pulled out the banjo bolts that hold the hard lines to the carb there I found the screens were falling apart, so I removed those thinking that some of the peices of screen are maybe clogging or making something hang up in the carb. I poured half a container of seafoam in the fuel tank and sucked up the other half into the engine via a vaccum line. I than took some carb clean and sprayed all the gunk off of the inside of the carb while running the engine. I ran it hard for about 7 miles and parked it and it started right up. I will see if I have any problems tomorrow when I take her on my 71 mile round trip to work. After this tank of fuel I will pour some more seafoam into the tank and than change the fuel filter and put in a see through inline filter to take place of the screens that were corroded.
