s4 13 b into 84 gs
Hi guys, im planning keeping the 13b injected. Im pulling the 86 harness i need to know which wires to keep. I know i have to keep passenger side intact. But the half that goes to the driver side. Which wires do i have to keep. Obviously coil, if you could help me it would be great. Or point me towards a helpful link.

Get a factory service manual. It will be WELL worth it.They have very simple flowcharts showing which wire does what and where they plug into the ECU.
Right side harness is cake, just plug and play.
The left side harness has several wires you wont need, like AC and PS signal wires, speed signal, voltage load, neutral switch,ect......
The needed wires on the left side harness will go to the CAS,coils, circuit opening relay, main ECU power relay, fuel pump relay and battery. Just cut them at the ECU and leave a few inches to work with.Your gonna have to run new wire since the FC harness goes all over the place under the dash.
About 10 total.Get the factory manual or look at the ones on teamfc3s.org.......
Theres really no better way to make sense of it all than the Mazda book.
BTW,this info applies to N/A and Turbo cars, the ECU plugs and harness' are basically the same, just a few extra wires for the TII.
