Hi friends, i have a Q.
I have an 85 RX7 GSL-SE. It was my brothers and he was going to send it to a junkyard cuz well, he is married now and doesnt have time to work on it. So I made the quick move and took it into my loving arms. I have started restoring it already. The car is no where near horrible shape. He had already spent alot of money into it in his teen years. This upcoming sunday my friend is coming over and he is going to install a Bonez cat in it, a new rear end(axel), and a flow master muffler system. Although none of this has to do with my question yet, just thought id like to let you know, cuz hell, im excited as **** about seeing my baby purrr!!!!

Now here comes some facts.. ..
I know my car's engine is old and has taken quite a few miles. over 250,000. I know that it is a matter of time before my engine is capoot. Here is my Q, I was thinking that like in 2 or 3 years, or when needed, replacing my old engine. I want to have more power though so i do not want to put the same one in there. I was wondering if I could put the new RX8 engine inside of my car... I believe the RX8 hp is around 240ish and so that would be a gain with hp on my car. And also its a rotary engine. I dont know if it is possible..could any one tell me if it is or not? And would any one reccommend it. I plan on keeping my car for a long time and have it as something my son will have when he gets his first car..and im only 17! Im not having kids till upper 20's...ALREADY, ya hurr? lol Thanks for the help
