I'm 38 and bought my first 1st Gen YESTERDAY! My first car was a 1976 Cosmo. What a great car! I always wanted a rotory Mazda again and now it's in my driveway. I can't wait to mod it out!

Well I'm keeping it alive!

22, have a 83 GS that is now a GSL-SE (pretty much) with out a engine. Some day I'll put my cosmo engine and T2 trans in it..

had:
87 sport
85 S (my favorite)
90 GTU
84-se
84-se
85 s (no options, even the steel wheels!)
now I have the 83 money pit

oops forgot about the other non Rx-7 cars

79 triumph TR-7
89 Dodge dakota 4x4
85 dodge daytona, by far the worst car I've owned, didn't even put any gas in it. Sold it two weeks after I bought it
84 honda prelude
88 acura integra
91 integra
looking for something else now, have had the "'teg" for 2 1/2 years now, time to move on

I've owned 30 cars in my 30 years. The most i've ever paid for one was $1500. That was a '65 Chevelle Malibu SS. Currently driving '88 5.0 Mustang. Shitbox yes, but a fast shitbox. Girlfriend has an '84 GSL purchased new, actually ordered to her specifications. (at/ps/leather/sunroof/ac/who knows what) It's always garaged and the paint gleams like new. That's why I'm here. I kinda volunteered my skills to keep it going. Other than what I've done, it's been serviced exclusively by the dealer. I couldn't wait to get under the hood and play with a rotary engine.

18-years-old here. Just bought my first gen this morning actually. $350 for an S model with 170,000 miles. I had to tow the car home because the clutch was toast, but I'm excited about my new project.

32. Owned my 7 since I was a senior in High School. Can't ever imagine getting rid of it. Dad wanted to buy me a new Hyundai, instead I got the Rx-7. Looks a little different now than it did in 1988.
