ok guys as I talked about it on the AIM chat, i just opened up a chat room on my site.

you can just enter a nickname and enter the room or you can register your nickname, so nobody else uses it. See you guys there

ok guys i put a new chat program on my site which is IRC based and it's really fast and convenient. just go the address which is http://www.bcrx7.com/chat/ and when security warning pops up grant permission and put your nickname and click connect and you are in.

what problem do you have???

you have to have InternetExplorer or Netscape 4.0 or higher with Java VM

I can't connect, either. I don't get any "permission" popup, as the start page tells me to expect. I'm behind a big ol' corporate firewall, though.

Same here, but I've never had a problem with the firewall for stuff like this.

I get the applet started and everything and I can see the room, but it cant connect.

i'm gonna be on there for a while. If you cannot connect, that mean you have firewall problem. This program uses IRC and i think IT uses port 6667, so you have to let it go through
