The paint itself was $400, primer and prep materials around 150. I just took the key locks out and welded a piece of scrap metal behind and filled the hole with bondo and finisher. Took the carpet and seats out, front and rear windshield and the bumper covers came off. I bought 2 new fenders and a front cover (the car was vandalized) for about $500 and the rest was blood sweat and tears. I did the underside of the hood, the door jams and everything, and I put a new windshield in for the hell of it (was only $200 more). Whole thing took about 6 weeks... I did all the prep work after a full day of work and sprayed the primer and base and finish over 2 weekends. After the final coat was done I got a few buddies to hand finish it with wet block and rubbing compound. No clear coat, just a nice hand finished wet sand.

*Blushes* Thanks. It was a lot of hard work, but it was worth it.
I have pics of the door jams and hood, but thats kinda boring. Except I got all the Spec stickers reprinted. The Mazda dealer actually got me reprints for $15
