rubber fuel line size?

Well, when I was taking off the fuel filter on my '79 the rubber line from the gastank to the filter was all nasty and literally fell off, and I just went to get a replacement but now I can't find the nasty old piece! Ack! I was wondering if you folks knew the ID & OD of the rubber hoses connecting both sides of the fuel filter.

Thx

Yeah its 5/16 id its just standard fuel line you can pick up that size at any part store. if you have to replace that line i would go ahead and replace all rubber lines in the fuel system, the fuel line is not expensive and you can buy it in feet and cut it whre you want. dont skip out on the fuel line or you will probably go back soon and do the rest of it.

For a few more cents, use the fuel injection lines. they are much stronger than the non-FI.

They going to be available at a local shop? Or where can I grab 'em online, I don't mind paying a bit extra.

You should be able to get bulk hose, FI and non-FI at your local parts store. I got my non-FI hose at a hardware store. NAPA sells both in bulk. Autozone too.
