Cool Royal Purple Performance Oil

I don't know if this has already been covered or not, but lately i have had some problems with my syncros in my tranny, I was pissed, because i thought i would have to swap trannys for my old one. And i had just changed the oil about 6 months ago to synthetic, with ok results. I bought some Royal Purple performance transmission oil yesterday, Popped that stuff in and WOW, what a difference, the syncros are sooo much smoother, when i'm at stop signs i no longer have to put it in 3rd, then 2nd and then 1st, Now even if i'm going 30 km/h i can easily put it in 3rd, I used to have to stop completely. I noticed though that this purple stuff is much thinner than my old stuff. anyways i think its amazing stuff, and i completely recommend it. I know alot of people like redline, but the guy at the store said the royal purple was better, and CHEAPER.

anyways I'm just happy, its like a new tranny.

i tried royal purple 75-90 in the trans and at first it worked great. the trans became quiet and smooth again. now, it has developed scraping noises when shifting gears. i figure that i either need to change the fluid again or buy a new trans.

Royal Purple or Redline.
They seem to be about equal.
I've been needing to do my tranny fluid for a while, and I was thinking Redline...

Royal purple is bogus. They've just been advertising it on the horsepower channels which is where its been getting its popularity. I've heard stories where is actually made their car sound and run like ****. If you want THE BEST OIL IN THE WORLD, do yourseld a favor and throw in some AMSOIL. www.amsoil.com. Amsoil outperforms ANY other oil no doubt. Check out their test, beating mobil 1, valvoline and many others.

I am a true redline fan, I run all Redline fluids.
The car has 126,000 oroginal miles, and is frequently track dayed, and auto-xed. The motor still fires first time every time, and blows very little smoke..
There is a little bit more syncro noise from the tranny, but it shifts very smoothely. (I have been running these fluids for a while, and have forgotten what it used to feel like, but I know its a ton better.)
