Well if you can clear your schedule and I can clear mine we could go out there together so we don't get lost and ****. I've only driven 2.5 hrs. form my house by myself. I need to change that.

I may get flamed, but my PERSONAL opinion is this:
Rotorfest was o-k, BUT the camping and hanging out was much, much better. Yes it was nice to 'look' at all the 7's gathered at Rotorfest, yes it was nice to see a couple other folks at Rotorfest BUT the real fun was the camping..
Now July can get pretty miserable for camping. If it's hot and humid, I guarantee the campfire won't be as appealing. I would not be opposed to coming up with a camping date in early to mid June on a date that most everyone can make it (including Hector ). Maybe do a hotel or a house for Rotorfest for those that want to go.
Personally- having been to Rotorfest last year, I would most certainly choose camping over that activity. Don't get me wrong- Rotorfest was nice, but the camping was better!

I agree with Tom. It's not at all to suggest that Rotorfest isn't worth a couple hundred mile trip- so long as you love what you're driving.
But to hang out with rotary enthusiasts in a relaxed atmosphere is great.

awe...thanx tom i agree though...the camping was a very nice relaxed atmosphere for us to get together and tell our stories and adventures...the rotorfest is nice to check out but last years highlight was the camping...
i'm open for another date if you guys are open to it...as for FC's...they are most welcome, i just post the camptrip here because i relate to FB owners more since I am one...but i'm open to any rotary...shoot...bring a rotary engined plane or helicopter or boat if you want
you guys let me know what you want to do...maybe even 2 camptrips...one early and the other in July (i won't be attending that one though)

Well- my vote would be for a rotary 'happening' in June (regardless of type- FB, FC, FD- F' me ).
The rest is just 'fluff'.

I'm up for it being earlier, as said earlier, rotorfest is cool, but camping was much better. As for FC's, bring em if you want, you'll be outnumbered though As for nashville,a long distance thing would be cool, but how bout we try to make that a seperate event, this is our annual northeast thing

Just trying to figure out a mid point for us all. There's no rotary community here in OK and West coast is too expensive, so this is the only other option. It would be so awesome to go camping with a bunch of rotorheads.
