well...i'm down for another camping trip...i like how we all got to check out each others cars really closely...and even got to drive eachothers...
then we ate...and sat around and laughed and farted for a while! man...it was definately a fun time...i'm so glad it all worked out.
soooo...even if the rotorfest is over...if you guys are down...i'm down...plus the campsite next to us can fit 100 people if this actually grows...
Here are the pix of the camping trip with rotorfest pix

Well, I have to say, most of the BS that caused Jay to throw up his hands was done by non-FB owners. And that thread...sheesh, I can't belive the lack of graditude on there! And most of that is demonstrated by non-FB owners, too!
Seems like the "FB and older plus other" catagory is made up of hard working guys that just really love their cars no matter what they can put into them.
I feel much more comfortable with those types. I had no idea that there was such a different kind of person associated with each generation car. (A generalization, I do realize, but for the most part, I think it's true.)
What we're proposing is exactly how a really nice quiet car show should evolve.
I'm gonna go rant on the NE forum, now. (-the first time my ranting might actually do some good)

I am hesitant to admit it, but I fear you are right, Sterling. What leads me to agree is that we had a fairly good cross section of age groups representing FB's and NONE of that horseshit was evident.
Too bad. It only takes 1 or 2 idiots to spoil a good thing. I tell you..there is a reason you can 'rent-a-cop', and an event like that is as good a reason as any.

And bizarro, I was just thinking the same thing, we could go down to Tom's neck of the woods and camp at a different site, that would be cool

Honestly if you want to go to the hyperfest thing you could camp / stay at the house, if you want too. My property borders a good size stream, plenty of open areas, LOTS OF PRE-SPLIT FIREWOOD, all with the luxury of a house close by.

Ha! The only way you're gonna do burnouts on my lawn is if you have a big 4x4 or a good sized tractor!
Here is a post with a pic of my 'yard'.
