rotrmotr

Wait,
Im a little confused here, cause the size you posted on the wheels. They either dont have it,or they make more than 1 size.

If one wheel has 15, in and them in 17,can we get them in a 17?
The price of a 15in tire compared to a 17 is more expensive.

If the sizes you post, are only what they will offer, let me know I will erase the links
But im hoping we still have the wheel sizes, and colors as an option.

I want the GT3
OR
the Track R

I don't need the 4x110mm bolt circle because I've got a GSL-SE... which is why I can't take part in this group buy.

well, the point of the multiple choice thing was to see what wheel had the maximum intrest. If you were okay with buying two different kinds, then you could vote for two different kinds.

If enough people are interested it could possibly end up being 5 of one wheel 5 of another, etc.

Who knows, I'm waiting for my Almex wheels to come in the mail.

Well give it some time, then do another poll to narrow it down,Unless they will do 5 diffrent wheels, and we can just choose what we want.

If we are getting a special order, can ROTA give us a special finish also? I'd personally love the see the J.SPL or the D2 with both polished lip and center. If five orders wanted it, would they play?

You can get that price, but you can't get wheels that FIT. That's where this group buy comes into play.... They need a number of people committed to buying these wheels in the 4x110 bolt pattern before they make them!!

not trying to get slightly offtopic, but i do know that rota JUST made some D2's for the 240sx that are 4x114.3, and they are 17x8.5 and i believe 17x7.5 (the 17x8.5 are +20 offset) Also...rota also makes the Rota Grid in 16x8 +10 & +20 offset. I personally am buying some Grids in 16x8 +10 for my FB

EDIT...forgot price...i believe for (4) 17x8.5 its $720 shipped

there is a disscusion about this on zilvia.net (240 forum) and pretty much it comes down to luck. Think of how many people own rotas, and have absolutly no problems with them. I have known people to drive daily on them and have them bust, and i've known people that track them every weekend, and have ran them into curbs, and have no problems.

I'll take a set of Slipstreams as long as the RX7 offset will fit my RX3.... can anyone verify this? Thanks!

I could also go with a set of GT3's.... if it makes thing simpler.... again, as long as the offset will work with my RX3.

nope. rotas do not make the gt3's in lower offsets. the lowest they got for the gt3 is 40mm or 38mm which would look gay on a 3 since it can accomodate 0 to negative offsets and the wrong bolt pattern.

rotas do not usually make low offset wheels for those that do not know this, except for the d2's which are even then still not very low offset wheels (not sure of other models if i'm forgetting any other).

due to wrong offsets, i personally wouldn't recommend rotas on the FB

Here's what the web site list for D2's. These selection of offsets should provide one that works for both -SE and non-SE FB's.

Now if they will just offer this wheel with polished center, I'd be in love.

MODEL NAME: D2

COLORS AVAILABLE:

Gunmetal with polished lip, White with polished lip

SIZES AVAILABLE:

17 x 7.5 +20/+25/+30/+35/+40/+48 4h/5h x 100/114.3

17 x 8.5 +20/+25/+30/+35/+40/+48 4h/5h x 100/114.3

18 x 8.0 +35/+48 4h/5h x 100/114.3

18 x 8.0 +35/+48 5h x 112/120

18 x 7.5 +45/+48 5h x 100/114.3

18 x 8.0 +45/+48 5h x 100/114.3

rotrmotr, who's in contact with the ROTA, said that they will make the GT-3's in the correct offset.

I am in direct contact with the director of distribution for the US, the offices are in California- I explicitly made shure that we need the wheels to have a specific bolt pattern & offset- his answer was no problem as long as we have a minimum 20 wheels (5 sets) on one style & size.

Will try to reach him today-
