Time to bring out the big guns. In the 1st Gen FAQ there's a Q&A on this very subject. Check it out and good luck!

Q. My RX-7 won't start, where do I begin?
A. Pele has written a "book" entitled: End all for no start threads.

Like I said, it's so generic. It works on any car, not just RX-7's not just rotaries.

I had the same problem turned out it was my pickup in the distributor that was not giving it enough sprark to start the car. I cleaned it all off and it has worked great since. A new one if it is rusted out bad will run you 190$ thats in canadian money. hope this helps because it drove me up the wall
