Replacing the radio & EQ

I'm going the replace the radio and EQ on my lastest SE with some stock units that aren't so trashed out. A few q's:
  • How do you get at the audio gear? Do you have to pull the dash or anything crazy like that?
  • Anyone know of some working stock units for sale?

Thx!

to remove the radio and equalizer all you have to do it take off the grey bezel, and the 2 side corner plastics on both sides of the bezel and there should be 4 screws (i think thats about right ) that hold each unit. Also if you want to take the rest of the surround sound off, there should be 2 amplifiers under each compartment bins, most of the wiring runs from the driver side door under the carpet, there should also be some running to the console

If noone has removed the grey bezel before, the nuts for the heater controls will be holding it on. Just remove the bezel around the shifter, the 2 screws at the bottom of the upright bezel, the heater ***** and nuts (there are wires to the lights behind the *****). then the 4 screws around the stereo bracket and pull it out. Wires from the harness to the unit are realy short.

I need the EQ for sure, as it looks like someone attempted to remove it with a hammer. The radio and cassette look time trashed, tarnished, and faded.

JDGJr85GSLSE is correct. Did that to change mine out with an aftermarket cd player and it went smoothly.

I have 2 sets of stock amps, a stock radio and EQ, and 2 sets of stock speakers (mostly working). If you want anything lemme know via PM.
