Replacement Rear Fender Panels Found

Replacement Rear Fender Panels Found
Fellow rotorheads-
For those struggling with the all-too-common rusted rear lower fender panels, I have found a solution. A fellow named Stephen Brooks in the UK manufactures these panels for a variety of older cars, our SAs and FBs included. I saw his posting on ebay for RX7 panels, and after a few exchanged emails, purchased a pair of replacement panels for the sum of $92US delivery included. I've attached a photo of one of the panels against MY Rx7 fender. As you can see, the panels are pretty generous in size, so lots of metal there to cut and fit by a competent bodyman.
Unfortunately, at least for now, Steve only offers these via email. No website, tho I have encouraged him to set something up, which he says he is trying to do. According to him they are doing a good business selling various car replacement panels thru ebay. I can certainly attest to the quality of the panels I received and hope this will be of value to others here.

Prices per Steve as of Feb 17th:
-Front panel ahead of rear well: $38.85 (27.5 Pounds Sterling using XE.com $$ converter)
-Top wheel arch panel: $35.30 (25 Sterling)
-Rear panel behind well: $31.78 (22.5 Pounds Sterling)
This is EACH panel, NOT each PAIR!
Complete set of 6 pieces (ie both sides): $211 (150 pounds)
PLUS SHIPPING!
Steve ships via post and it was very reasonable. I'm no metallurgist but looks like good quality, correct thickness metal.
Based on old US sites that sold some of these once-upon-a-time, these are about 1/2 the price. Sure beats hunting and chopping used sheet metal off a wreck!
If/when Steve gets his website up I'll post it if he doesn't first.
Thank you Steve for this valuable resource!!

Stu,
Thanks for getting this info out.
What's your timetable for using the parts that you have purchased? Please keep us updated on how they work.
And thanks to Steve for providing these parts.

Like 80% of the spares I buy, these are for "just -in-case" - so my fender panel replacement is down the road, but will post when The Day arrives.

TOF
this was just for lower rear panels, as first post in thread indicates, these come from Britain.
FWIW if you do a CraigsList _national_ search, there is a guy in the SE (??) selling a NEW OE rear fender from door-to-tail light. Don't know what city, thus you need to google for a national Craigs search engine. He posted this a while ago but keeps re-posting and I saw it again a few weeks ago so likely still has. Think it was all of $100, tho shipping will be a bit $$

That's great. I always just chopped up the rear lower part of a front fender for front of the quarter panel. The rear your on your own on there... Until now! I'll keep this in mind! I really need an entire rocker. It don't look to hard to make but really be nice to just purchase an entire rocker.
