Question Removing Seats

How the hell do I get those seats out of my FB? Do I have to unbolt the track they slide in?

i am sure that the mazda service manul available at many fine bookstores across north america would have pretty pictures and in-depth how to guides on this very topic... or perhaps a search on the forums could yeild some results.

cheers'

unbolt the four bolts holding the tracks to the floor, they are 14mm I believe.

Read sig.

scoot the seat all the way forward and recline it all the way forward to get the back bolts, then slide it all the way back for the front ones.

look under the front and rear of the seat...on left and right (so 4 in total)..bolts...just undo them...seat should come right out....

the bolts might be hidden under some carpet though

12mm sockets, but yeah, they just fall right out, two in the front, two in the back, and that's all!

I used to take the passenger seat out all the time for better cargo-hauling ability. Then I just LEFT the seat out - nobody ever sits there anyway.

You striped the insides ?,,what, are you making it just
a drag car ? have you weighted the stuff you removed ?
have you ever thought about putting a sand bag ,,
(full of sand ) in the back, over the rear axle, it's weight
(cheap)that can be moved around to help hook-up.
it makes a difference,,try it,,you'll be pulling the front
wheel(s) off the ground..C-ya mate.
