Removing cruise control on GSL-SE
First let me say, I love my GSL-SE. I want to remove my cruise control to create less engine clutter. Plus, I never use it.
I'm concerned about the vacuum hose connected to the actuator. It tees into one of the vacuum hoses and I can't find enough information in the shop manual.
Does anyone here have any experience with the cruise control on a 13B that comment on anything I might want or need to be concerned with removing the cruise control system.
If the answer is RTFM, please tell me where in the shop manual.
Thanks,
Darryl

Anytime baby!
I'd say just remove the cruise throttle cable, vaccum cylinder thing and then just plug the vaccum tubes so you don't have a leak. Just give it a try!
Right on.
Right on.

Like Brownmound said, eliminate the short bit of vacuum hose and the tee. Should be no prob. Looks to me like the thing is only attached to engine vacuum.

Thanks. Just making sure that I'm not overlooking anything obvious. I'll try it and write back what happens. Hopefully, it will be uneventful. I plan on looking at this evening or this weekend.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Just to follow-up. There were no problems with my cruise control. I disconnected the vacumm hose and tied off and have not had any problems. Thanks.
