Lightbulb Removing the bumper = colder air and 40 less lbs. Free ground effectS!

After my bumper fell off ( read the twisty tie forum) i just deicded to leave the crushed refuge behind and be happy. The result, a ghetto looking weight reduction. The metal on the bumper weighed at least 40 lbs, and the car doesnt look too shabby withut it. I cut the sides which were salvagble off the bumper and riveted them on to save weight. The result- 40 less pounds and the air easily goes inside the bay MUCH colder and easier. The little black brush guard thing was easily remounted to the fron of the car, resulting in a fabulous (fabulously funny) looking custom... grill thing.... So if your bumper falls off consider this article. I have a feeling the major RX-7 enthusiasts are going to disown me over this.

I destroyed my front bumper so I took it off and my temperatures have never risen over the 1/4 mark since..especially on the hwy

Plus, I think it looks good..at least from some angles..and if u ignore the bumper supports

Maybe i'll slap some fiberglass under the headlights to complete it and leave it at that lol
