![Question](https://www.rx7club.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I was working on my Rx7 today so I can pull out my carpets and dye them and make new panels, like Dr. How To. After I get my dash all out and disconnected my Harness, I think it was. 3 connectors, 1 black and long, 1 white and long, and 1 skinny white. I started my car to see if it would work and it did.
So I was putting everything back together becuase she is a daily driver, and I have work tonight at 1130pm, wired up my gauges and placed them neatly on my steering column with some duct tape. and Reconnect the 3 connectors, and my car doesn't start. It sounds like it wants to, but it just wont.
Why Did I break my Rx7?

I think i can hear his fuel pump running on the recording. Have you checked
the fusible link bellow the steering column? Might have gotten disconnected,
or broken accidently. I think it might have a black wire with yellow stripe
connected to it.
Also check your fuses and other fusible links.

I pulled trailing plugs and it made three PSSST PSSST PSSST noises, I think I have compression.
I looked into my carburetor and fuel was going into it.
there is also white smoking coming out of my tailpipe as it tries to start. whitish blue kinda i think. also some came out of the carb when i looked into as my dad tried to start it

If you flooded it before, pull your plugs and clean them. I've had to bead blast new ones, once they were flooded out. Brake cleaner wouldn't clean them up enough.
Sounds like your starting problem may not be related to the dash, but I would check all the connections again, especially near the ignition switch. You also may want to look over the starting diagrams in the FSM, to see if you missed something.

The wetness is flooding. Take all the plugs out, spin the motor over a for a few seconds. Clean the plugs off, so they're nice and dry. Pour a small amount of motor oil or 2-stroke oil into each of the primaries. Put the plugs back in, and connect the wires. Try starting it now.

wheel. Check out my thread to know what to check. Since your problem
started after re-installing your dash it's worth checking it out:

I went out there this morning and it started right up first try, and started smoking ab it, then it died
Now it doesnt start again, it just cranks for a few seconds and then makes another noise and doesnt do it anymore, like it's been doing
Ima go buy new plugs and try it again
