recent GSL-SE conversion, small issues...

Third day of commuting with the GSL-SE brake and rear axle LSD conversion to my 83 gs. work went smoothly and the cars braking power is tremedously improved. Swap was a bolt except for the fittings on the main brake line to the rear, had to use a 280z brake line I had lying around to alleviate that.
Well, car feels slower now, I believe its due to the lsd taking more hp to move the wheels.
Also, when I have the car in the air, the wheels spin in opposite directions, like an open diff. Only difference is that its not like an open diff where you can hold one wheel and spin the other one, if you spin one wheel the other wheel will spin the opposite direction but you cant just hold the other one still.
I used a pretty heavy fluid, its a 75-140wt synthetic mobil one and one bottle of lsd additive.
I tried to do a doughnut, IVe only had the car for two weeks so I dont know it that well yet. Didnt dump the clutch, just rolled into it and hit the gas, and the rear end will brake loose, but not the way I think it should be with a lsd. It feels like its struggling to keep swinging, I didnt try very hard however.
The car does exhibit LSD tendecies in turns though, I can hit a right or left hard and the tail wags consistently. Burnouts result in consistent strips of rubber.
Any thoughts?
I may not be used to rotary power too, Im used to cars with a lower torque peak and boost to make things interesting, when combined with a clutch diff swinging the car stupid only required flooring the car with the wheel turned and modulating the gas. Maybe the rx7 needs a clutch dump and harder modulation of the gas to keep spinning?
All in all diff swap was great due to the gearing and the braking of the car, just had these questions.
