Rear sway bars with aftermarket suspension
1982 gsl rb20 powered rx7:
Currently, I have ordered some Ground control springs/sleeves to mount on my shock tubes on the front like the weld in respeed setup and replace the rear springs with the sleeves/ eibach springs. I ordered Koni yellow struts for the front and rear shorter bilsteins for the back. Both front and rears came from Shox.com for around 500$
I currently have the stock sway on the rear and am building sway bar that fits under my oil pan for the front.
However I amwondering what exactly would be the best sway bar for the rear? I have two, one stock and one about 1". I have heard of removing the rear bar completely but I do not feel as though this is as effective with the rear suspension set-up.
If anyone has experience in this situation that would be great. I have included a picture from granny speed shop to show how the rear suspension will look.

Remove and enjoy
Edit*.Kudos on a cool motor swap. And yes. I recommend removing the rear sway bar all together... It negates the mid corner rebounding that the stock bar creates.. I can't imagine wanting a rear bar back. (Our spec car also runs no rear bar)

Thanks, it screams! and the oversteer is quite controllable even though I was running her with oem springs/ blad tires and no front sway bar..oddly enough. Will have to try for myself I guess.

Just try it with and without the rear bar, see which you like best. I run an aftermarket adjustable on the rear, with a Respeed bar on the front. Very nicely balanced...
