Rear pushed over to one side?

This is a 85 GSL with a 84-85 GSLSE rear. I did not do the install, this is how I got the car.

The rear is pushed over further towards the drivers side. I can't see anything underneath that looks like it might be the cause. I can see it's pushed over because the wheel sticks much further out on that side. I tested this with two different sets of wheels. Both did the same thing.

And I did check to see if the wheel sits flush against the hub/brake. And its looks just fine.

So what would make the rear end push over? Is there something to adjust it?

If I recall correctly, this was determined to be a natural result of the rear geometry; there was an extended discussion thread of it a year or so back, I think.

I recently checked my car using two leveling lasers (because lasers make it science!) and sure enough, the rear axle sits about a half-inch or so left of center.

Noticed the same thing on my GSL-SE. Was about to look into it - glad I came across this thread!

It's definitely more than a half inch on mine though. It's really noticeable. Is there a soultion to fixing this? Shims, or relocating something?

It does get worse as the car is lowered, if I remember.

I'll see if I can find that ciscussion again.

Thanks, I searched but couldn't find it.

Also, the car is at stock height.

hmm i remember that thread, i thought everyones car was to the right and mine was the only one to the left?

anyways i took the whole thing apart, and the pivot was tweaked, so i put it in a press and it helped, but its still off.

step 2 was to build adjustable links, i think the rod ends really helped with the binding, and i haven't even driven it yet! its been on an off the car a few times to sort out the rod end spacers
