most of you are all wannabe's that know nothing about the *glorious rotary* and have never even seen the inside of it, but somehow think you have the right to tell us "v8 guys" that WE don't **** about rotarys!
You guys are such ****, I'm glad i don't have to be associated with you idiots anymore.

Here, HEre - I officially declare this a challenge to all you ROTARDS.
Give me ONE (1) single logically correct or superior feat/advantage the rotary has over any comparable piston engine. Being already in the car doesn't count. Opinions don't count. All i want is facts, atleast facts that matter in the end.
Power doesn't even have to be a part of the arguement to make it easier on you. It can be any number of things; I dare you to come up with even ONE.

What a bunch of crock! You rotary zealots know absolutely nothing useful. Us V8 guys have been down the rotary path and we've been down the alternate path as well. Some of us had to spend small fortunes to realize the pitfalls of the rotary. We are offering the learned knowledge for FREE but your heads are so far up each other's asses that you can't see that. And I'm not talking about the guys who simply like the rotary or want to keep their cars original. I can RESPECT their decision without bagging on them. I'm talking about the whiners that should keep their stupid *** comments to themselves because all they want to do is complain about what we do to "their" cars like they ******' own them all or something! If you don't want the info then move on to the next thread. It's not like we're forcing you to swap the motor out of your cars!

I'm tempted to post a massive penetration shot from a porno to lock this thread, take the week ban and be done with this crap. This isn't the second gen section, grow up.

Haven't seen much of this lately...

Typo, lol. I didn't even see one. I'm talking about attacking people for their preference, this goes for both the rotary and V8 "zealots". Put whatever you want in your own damn car, just don't call my choices stupid or uneducated, not everyone has the urge to posses gobs of redneck tiresmoking torque. Give me my toque anyday. I love my 12A, and it's plenty to land me in jail.

Are you reading my posts or just using the force dumbass? That was the whole point! I don't bag on other people's cars whether they have the rotary, a V8 or a bunch of hamsters running around in ******* cage! I said I RESPECT their choice whatever it may be. The only retarded choice here was your parents having kids. Now begone misguided youth, and get your own toque! Not that you need to warm anything vital in that head of yours. Oh I'm sorry, was that a typo?

Urge to post ***** rising....rising...rising.
Oh wait I can end this...the answer is no. A stock Rx-7 will most likely not stand up to the abuse of a 350, you may get away with it for awhile but should be considering and upgrade in the near future, perhaps a narrowed Ford 9" or sometype of Borg Warner (32 spline?) diff like the one sported by AJC13B who is in the neighbourhood of 500Hp and running low 10's. Goodnight.

hmmm just how times has ajc13b rebuilt his engine??
that's what i thought.
ive spent 4.5k grand on a street port 12a rx-7 i rebuilt(currently owned and autox by a member of this board) before i started to realize with tons of research all the downfalls rotary engines inevitably have and will not surcome.
they're just crap---> get-over-it.
Look about all they have left is that they are really cool engines because they're different. Why don't you just go gay to feel better about yourself then?

That's the damn question, here's the ******* answer, not for long. **** off and quit dragging this out.....stir stir stir. Is the poor guy who asked a simple question even around anymore? I'd leave too after all this bullshit. [/SterlingMode]

Well finaly you got it NanaimoRx-7. Why couldn't you have posted that in the first place instead of threatening with childish behavior?
The originator would still be around and the thread would have been much shorter had people just STFU about their views and just answered the question. But no, all the morons who've never done a V8 swap had nothing constructive to say so instead of moving on they simply HAD to share their views. Here's a tip. If you don't know the answer then zip it and move on. Simple as that. And as a matter of fact it is time to close this because all you close minded rotary zealots obviously don't know crap about a V8 swap.

Someone who treats this forum as the resource that it is would use it to find information or perhaps to help others with their problems. Then there are those who use this forum as their sole source of amusement or recreation. They circle in a holding pattern mindlessly for hours waiting for someone to post anything they can comment on, or look at, or wipe their greasy opinions on. You won't usually find them in tech threads, because they're typically not knowledgeable enough to convincingly participate in an information exchange. The ones who try are easy to spot; just look for someone parotting what others have already said 10 times or more in the past... sometimes only a few posts earlier in the same thread. Some even go so far as posting what they have to know is an incorrect answer, apparently just for the sake of being involved in the thread.
Often you'll find them soiling threads in the lounge and other areas of the forum where they can voice their fanatical opinions and/or political leanings. Defprun and others are infamous for zeroing in on a defenseless thread and one-line whoring it to death in mere seconds. When they find a thread where they can pull out their soapbox and state their opinion, by God they'll shout about it until they're blue in the face, regardless of whether or not they're right or wrong or whether or not anyone cared about what they had to say. Topics that have nothing to do with them are the best, since they have no personal involvement and can **** smear someone else's thread/car/project to their hearts content, then leave whenever they want... or when someone succesfully counters whatever bullshit they're trying to sell at the moment and drives a wooden stake through their hearts... it's the only way to be sure that they're dead.
In other words, they can't not comment on something, because they're bored, it's their only form of entertainment, and it doesn't matter to them if they ruin someone else's thread with their garbage. Just think of them as the same type of people who would **** on the floor of a public restroom because they're not the ones who will have to clean it up... no class whatsoever.

Actually, I think that the low class award goes to TOUGHGUY and his incessant use of profanity. It's hard to come to a mutal understanding when every second word in a post is mono-sylabic and four letters long.

I think most of the aggresion towards TOUGHGUY stems from his choice of smily at the end of each post. You make a really worthy post, then throw it all to waste with hypocitical statments, or calling me gay , and suggesting that my parents shouldn't have had children...
This is the best and funniest plea for tolerance I've seen lately...

Hey man, you like your Detriot power, I respect that... I'm not going to say, "CUT THE MULLET!!!" or ask if you have a gun rack on your RX-7... Because I respect the American engines... Everything down to the 34975835th last moving part... All 400 Lbs of cast iron block wich timing belt snapping, head gasket blowing power...
I like good american classics... Mustangs, Camaros, Vettes, Chargers, and such from the 60's and 70's... The Ford 302, The Chevy 305 and 350, the Dodge Hemi...
However, Some of us like the rotary too... Sure it's got the impressive torque numbers of 460 in/lbs @ 9,000 RPM... Sure it looks like a beer keg with some manifolds glued to it and spark plugs drilled in the sides... Some enjoy the challange of extracting power from this thing. Some enjoy the uniqueness of having one of the few production cars with this engine.
Please respect us in return.
I understand there's guys out there that say, "**** THE BOINGERS! Anyone who has a V8 sleeps with their sister!"... There's also guys out there who say, "Those UnAmerican bastards buying gook cars suck. Their lack of torque is proportional to their lack of a *****."
Anyone with these narrow views should be stoned in public under the charge of being an *******. However, most of us are respectable car enthusiasts...
Can't we all just get a long?
Thanks.
